Two Stones… and Six Restaurants Later

Michael Stiglitz and Ben Muse opened the first Two Stones Gastro Pub in 2011 at the Chesmar Plaza Shopping Center in Newark, Delaware. Since then Two Stones has grown to five locations which include Wilmington, Hockessin, Jennersville and Kennett Square. Michael will be expanding his brand with a sixth location in Middletown, Delaware opening in mid 2019.

In 2015, 2SP Brewing Company opened in Aston, Pennsylvania. Bourbon and sherry oaked casks are used for aging an assortment of beers. Retail is available in the mid-Atlantic region and at all Two Stones locations plus restaurants and bars in the tri-state area. 2SP is the Craft Beer Temple of Delaware and the menu is beer driven.

During a recent visit to the DBS headquarters in New Castle, Michael met with our Sales team to review all of his accounts and what areas were important to Michael and his entire team.

What was it like before you had DBS products & services?
“We used pen & paper and that was miserable. No reports to compare unless you spent countless hours with an abacus or calculator. Try ordering paper rolls quickly, nope!”

What made our point of sale solutions stand out from other companies?
“Vice President, Bob Driscoll, from day one. He was the guy that made me feel that no matter what, we got this.”

What have you been able to achieve since using our products & services?
“Having a consistent platform and technical team in place to support all 6 restaurants in different locations AND knowing our expectations and needs has contributed to our continued growth.”

What's the main reason you recommend DBS?
“The service! Again, other POS companies may tout that they have a better system, but once they sell the system they go bye-bye. DBS on the other hand is always there and always willing to help!”
